Innovative improvements

Firefly 3 introduces several revolutionary features that push the boundaries of digital art creation, which can be used in Photoshop, or for free at firefly.adobe.com:

What's new in Firefly 3?

By setting an image as a Structural Reference, Firefly generates new images with the same composition.

Reference Image: Allows users to use existing images as structural references, avoiding the need to describe the composition with text. Firefly will copy the structure of the selected image to generate new images.

Firefly allows for manual expansion of images, and filling that space with the image's background.

Background Adjustment: Firefly users have control tools to modify any image. Adjusting formats, filling backgrounds, adding or removing details, are now easy processes in Firefly 3.

Auto-Stylization Capabilities: Powered by a new style engine, this feature offers a variety of automatic styling options that can transform the aesthetic of any image, providing users with more control and personalization.

Commercial Use and Availability: Adobe Firefly 3 is currently in beta and available at firefly.adobe.com. It offers both free and paid plans, accessible to users from beginners to professionals.

Microsoft, Apple, and Meta in the race

The race of the tech giants continues: Microsoft launched this week Phi-3, a series of smaller open AI models to be used on smartphones. Apple responded by introducing OpenELM, a series of artificial intelligence language models designed to operate directly on mobile devices. Meanwhile, Meta consolidates Llama 3 as the king of Open source models.
