How to animate text with Runway AI
AI video generation has evolved rapidly. Leading this transformation is Runway, with the recent release of its next-generation model, Gen-3.
Here are ten prompts that work well to create text effects:

Stability AI returns to open source
Stability AI released a new “Community License” that is much more permissive for using their AI models. They announced that their AI models will be free for most users, including small businesses. They are doubling down on open source and trying to win back the community after a problematic launch of SD3.
Why it matters
Stability AI was being criticized by its most loyal users due to its departure from the “open source” approach. It seems they have listened to the complaints and made changes to their license.
Stability AI added the following features to its chatbot Stable Assistant:
Search & Replace: Allows users to specify an object within their own images and replace it with another.
Music Generation: Enables the production of high-quality, full-length instrumental tracks.
OpenAI presents how it measures AI levels
OpenAI introduced a tiered system to measure the intellectual complexity of an AI model. Here’s how they broke it down:
The OpenAI Level System
Level 1: AI that can interact conversationally with people.
Level 2 (“Reasoners”): Systems that can solve problems as well as a human with a doctorate-level education.
Level 3 (“Agents”): Systems that can act on a user’s behalf for several days.
Level 4 (“Innovators”): AI that can develop innovations and contribute to new discoveries and inventions.
Level 5 (“Organizations”): AI systems that can perform the work of an entire organization, making decisions and collaborating to achieve a common goal.
Why it matters
OpenAI considers its GPT-4 model to currently be at level 1. And it claims there are signs it is close to reaching level 2. This system provides a framework for understanding the state of AI models.
